CONTEXT
Rua É Delas is the first edition of a female-led urban art and hip hop festival held in Balneário Camboriú, Brazil, in May 2025. The festival celebrated women’s presence, creativity and resistance within graffiti, street art and hip hop culture, occupying the city through murals, performances, workshops, talks, music and artistic exhibitions.
Over four days of programming, the event transformed public spaces into platforms for expression, exchange and collective presence, fostering dialogue, artistic creation and community connection. The project emphasized visibility, affection and the occupation of urban space through women’s voices and practices.
The visual identity of the festival was developed based on original illustrations by Julia Rodrigues, translating her artwork into a cohesive visual system applied across printed and digital materials.

Conclusion
This project was particularly important to me, as I was only briefly back in Brazil at the time and had the opportunity to collaborate with Pipa Souza and Clara from Into The Mirror, while also working with Red Bull on a project with clear direction and purpose. Being able to contribute to women’s skateboarding in my hometown and in my country was deeply meaningful, and reaffirmed my commitment to projects that connect brands, community and local culture in an authentic way.
